The game at Camp Nou with 95,000 fans saw Magnificent Lionel Messi performing his wonders again. Messi who made his 100th appearance in European Competition and 10th goal in11 games in the Champions League this season was magnificent all through the night and was impossible to stop. Three vital saves from Manuel Neuer was not enough to keep Bayern alive. First half saves from Luis Suarez and Dani Alves was not enough to keep Bayern in pole position for advancing to the final. It was a low definition of the semi final played 2013 which saw Bayern progress with 7-0 aggregate. The absence of key names like Arjen Robben, Frank Ribery was just too much a miss for Bayern of such a match with this magnitude.

A game of pace and struggle for space gave a goalless draw in the first half. And into the second half it seems it was all going to be a goalless match as it approach the end of the match. It took the ingenuity and masterclass of four time World's Best Lionel Messi to break the deadlock. Lionel Messi was just too good for Bayern as he scored twice to put Barca in the drivers seat. Fantastic Messi broke the deadlock 77th minute when it looks as though the game was going to end a goalless draw. Another goal from Lionel Messi in the 80th minute as he breaks in from the right side of the penalty box dribbling Boateng who fell as though he was gun down, and Messi in his usual manner of scoring chip the ball past goal keeper Manuel Neuer who had a fantastic game. A counter attack from Barca saw Lionel Messi release a pass from midfield in the 90+4 minute put Neymar clear one on one with Neuer and he squared it neatly into the net to make it 3-0.

Barcelona are on verge of eight European cup final with the second leg to be played in Munich next week Tuesday.
