There is a strong belief that behind every successful man there is always a woman. The success story of the governor of Cross River State can not be mentioned without inadvertently making reference to his amiable and charming wife. On the 29th May, the Governor in his inaugural speech gave his wife Dr. Linda Ayade her due place in his life. He spoke highly of her in the following clause, " My wife, thank you for standing by me, thank you for encouraging me and taking care of our kids. I love you so much". Those were the words of the Governor, Senator Ben Ayade during his inaugural speech.
Recent events have showed that the first lady, Dr. Linda Ayade is truly a woman with a heart of gold. She has continued to be in the news in the last one month since the launch of this administration. This very talented and intelligent Obudu-born first lady feels the pain of the widows in the State. She feels the sufferings of her fellow women and it can be recalled that during the International Widows Day which took place on 23rd June, she held a press conference release full of hope and aspiration for the widows of Cross River State.
Dr. Linda Ayade, the charming, intelligent, elegant, God fearing, talented, resourceful, industrious, hardworking, idealistic, technologically savvy first lady, took out time to enumerate the sufferings of the widows. She also gave the women of Cross River hope, she also posited that her focus will be on women empowerment and the girl child education. What a blessing to her generation.
She is a woman of enviable leadership qualities and skills. A very humble and respectful first lady who believes everyone should be given his/her due respect irrespective of class or status.
The first lady is a woman with a high level of self respect and respect for others and that is something a leader should uphold .
This prolific writer-cum-medical doctor, is an effective communicator. She is a woman of great conviction. She is a woman that drives hope to the hopeless and a voice to the voiceless in her generation.
The first lady of Cross River State, Dr. Linda Ayade, is a honest and dedicated leader. She is a woman of integrity and great expertise in everything she involves her self. During the campaigns, Dr. Ayade, showed great honesty and dedicated so much time in the campaigns of her husband. This is a woman who has a very fantastic job but had to take out time to stand by her husband in order for him to actualize his political ambition.
Meeting the elegant first lady of Cross River State, all you see is hope. She is a teacher, role model, inspirer, motivational speaker, mother and a friend to the poor. She is a woman who preaches the message of hope and gives hope to those who have lost hope and believe in themselves. She inspires People and motivates others to be employers of labour.
Her focus is on women empowerment and the girl child education.
She has come to revive the hope of the less privileged and provide succor to the down trodden in Cross River State.
