During the campaign of governor Ben Ayade, he painted everywhere with his slogan "politic with ethics", as I drove in the realm of life, I took a look at the rear mirror, which brings the past to me, I saw plenty of unethical politics from Ayade. A bit of my retrospect, on the 27th January 2015, at Ikom-CRS during South South Women Rally for PDP, the then governor Sen. Liyel Imoke handed over the microphone to Ben Ayade. After his usual 'shokey' dance step, Ayade started singing praises to Dame Patience Jonathan, calling her "our original mama from Abuja".
He went further to compare GEJ and GMB, as it was then, he found GMB wanting and scored him zero, he called him illiterate dictator who destroyed democracy in 1983, and the reason for GMB's candidature is ethnicity. He described GMB, as without ethics and certificate. However, when the entire PDP family were disgraced with the result of the April 2015 general elections, the PDP was defeated and the umbrella crumbled, this same GEJ/Dame-praise singer has turned his sycophantic searchlight now to PMB. This same illiterate dictator has now become your mentor. Always in Aso Rock, Aso Rock for what? To sing praises?
If your hobnobbing with PMB is with good intentions, why clamp down on those from your local government council who decamped to APC? If you claim you love PMB, you must love his supporters too, stop pretending. Ordering your media dogs to attack Prince Goddy Jeddy Agba, Venatius Ikem, Hon. Paul Adah, etc Is this your idea of politics with ethics?
If not for the recent Supreme Court judgement concerning political office holders defections, Ayade's selfish intention was to defect to APC, to enable him strengthen himself politically, we all knew he's an enemy of APC. Now, you can't separate a mother goat from her kids or love the goat and hate the kids or love the kids to hate the mother goat.
So, Ayade if you love PMB, you must love his supporters too. I pray to God to make the looters of our common wealth in CRS reason like a fowl. Amen.
