EDUCATION: KSU Senate Committee Abolishes Pass Degree.

In line with the directives of the National Universities Commission(NUC) 2007 benchmark, the senate of Kogi State University, Anyigba has abolished the award of PASS DEGREE in the Institution with effect from 2015/2016 session.

Negroidhaven learnt from the KSU news Bulletin of Mon.25th April 2016, that with the new development, such percentage scores of: 0-44% will now attract a Fail (F) and earn 0 Grade as against the previous Grade of an "E".

According to a memorandum signed by the registrar, Dr. Y.I Abubakar, who argued that students whose cumulative Grade point Average (CGPA) falls below 1.50 at the end of a particular academic session would earn a probation of one (1) academic session to seat up and  remedy the failure to avoid been withdrawn.

He further directed all stakeholders of the institution to implement the senate decision.
