Series: FINDING PURPOSE

"For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me"
Psalm:69:9.

"And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up" John:2:17.

Topic: PASSION

Passion is Fervor!
What trully are you passionate about?

If what you're doing doesn't satisfy your empty mind, then you havn't discovered youself yet.

At one time Jesus stayed back in the temple to discuss scriptures -His passion. He went to the synagogue and stood up to read scriptures…stepping even further to explain it without being prompted. He forgot He was hungry at another instance to discuss scriptures with a samaritan lady. He even made a scourge; using it to drive money changers away from the temple. Then His diciples remembered that it was written…that His purpose shall become an all consuming influence over His entire life.

Beloved, the best way to explain passion is to watch people who are passionate about a pursuit.

I mean…Jesus would sacrifice anything to perpetuate His purpose. And, ofcourse He did; by sacrificing Himself for the remission of sin.

Was it convenient? No! In fact, He prayed to the Father to have a change of mind if it were possible! We read in the Bible how He prayed until His sweat became like blood!

I've read a similar story of Dr. Martin Luther King jnr, how he said; "it doesn't matter anymore whether i'm going to die or live…" -pursuing purpose.

Nelson Mandela was jailed for years trying to fight White apathy towards the Blacks!

Paul said, "For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain"
Philippians:1:21.

Beloved, creation is managed by men/women who are willing to die for a course they've found worthy.

If you aren't stoic, forget about purpose!

You need a degree of zeal -passion- to fulfill your purpose on earth.

Be willing to die, then you shall live!!!i

"Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it" Luke:17:33.

I pray for you today, receive grace to find passion for your purpose in Jesus' name, Amen!

Good morning, and have a wonderful day!
