The distinguished Senator representing the Central Senatorial District of Cross River State comprising Yakurr, Abi, Obubra, Ikom, Etung and Boki at the Red Chamber of Nigeria's National Assembly (NASS), Etung-born John Owan-Enoh, elected on the ticket of the former ruling but now opposition party, the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP), has recently inspired a plethora of positive rhetoric laundering his political juggernaut especially taking cognizance of his practical involvement in the affairs of constituents of his constituency.

On the one hand, educationally speaking, Sen. Owan-Enoh has reportedly embarked on a human capital development of members of his constituency via an academic scholarship scheme to students of Central Senatorial District.

On the other hand, and medically inferring, the distinguished Senator has initiated a currently active Diabetes Programme for patients plagued with Diabetes in rural areas of his senatorial district.

Furthermore, constituents who are physically challenged weren't left out in Sen. Owan-Enoh's political outreach as they were presented with Wheel Chairs and Clutches to ease the challenge they presently grapple with.

Again, it's no more news that Sen. Owan-Enoh's constituency has been characterised by crisis of security significance particularly communal clashes in Abi/Ebonyi, Inyima and Onyadema in Yakurr and Obubra, Nko and Nkpani in Yakurr, and Ediba and Usumutong in Abi? Reports has it that the distinguished law maker has paid numerous visits and met with the belligerent communities in one occasion —dialogingly pleading with them to live as one in. He transcended this to empathise with his constituency especially the profoundly affected and aggrieved families with gift and financial support, and most constituents who have dropped out of school have been sent back to school. In fact, a committee has been constituted to overlook this aspect action.

It will be important to draw the attention to the fact that recently it was reported that Ikom Market had been gulped in a heavy conflagration. But, I am also pleased to announce to you that, that former popular business hub that was once destroyed by fire is presently being given a new and worthy face-lift by Sen. Owan-Enoh. The distinguished Senator has sworn to fix back the market. Rebuilding work is ongoing there now.

It's for strides like those already noted above and many others that inspired Bukie Okangbe, Chief Press Secretary to Boki LGA boss to say, '#mySenator… The reasons why I will continue to be Owan Enoh's supporter are very many but very simple. This Distinguished Senator is a real Democrat that got his mandate from his people… This senator is simple and humble. This senator does not pretend or change attitude when he desperately need something… This senator make you feel like a human being too as a poor man, he takes your calls, reply your texts messages even sit in an open gathering with ordinary farmers. He has served and he is still serving, even the federal Republic trust this young man with their money. My brothers and sisters Owan Enoh is a normal Democrat like the one we see in the western world….. Distinguished Senator John Owan Enoh… aka the "the man with d rocket smile". Carry on'. A southeasterner but obviously resident in the state, one, Gaius Chibueze, eulogised Owan-Enoh's thus, 'The one we know and trust'. For, Osonabiji Ojong he is, 'The unstoppable leader of the unheard'. Again, Nsi Charles argues that the Senator is 'Indeed He's a true democrat…' . For Kris Abang, he is the 'Special one'. Otubi Isa calls him, 'The man of the people'. Kofi Nkang observes that, 'we need more of his good will'.

For Johnson Ogwa, Owan-Enoh 'stands out from the madding crowd of politicians. A rare gift to CRS and Nigeria'. 'This Senator Na correct man I wish he is from the north', Fredericks Joseph Andortan has wished. 'This senator is shifting the paradigm in effective representation', according to
Austine Atibili. For Tony Bassey, the distinguished law maker 'Is a divine gift to this generation. Full of grace & wisdom. Too connected with God, via his Deeds and humility, to be stopped by man. He is that  light & salt to this generation.  Every gang-up against him, must fall, for his state (ISAIAH 55:14).  No man can shut the door opened before him (REVELATIONS 3:8-12). In one Prince Pappy's words, 'Men like him are very rare in our time. He is our God sent Representative any attempt to undo him will be to the detriment of our great party PDP, so whoever are Governor Ben advisers should be very careful otherwise we will all regret our action. He is a man of the people, the political hero of our time'.

One Ebri Willie makes a short but witty remark about our Senator —'You are a gem'. For Wofai Matthew-Odey Owan-Enoh is a 'Good man'. Justice Mbui went to social media to say 'Good day Sir' to the member of the Red Chamber. Bassey Ubangha calls him, 'My leader'. Trinity Jesam confessed that, 'I hold him on a high Esteem. Just like my boss Rt. Hon Eteng Jones William. I love them and will always support them'. For Linda Awoke he is a 'Man of all'. Jesam Ibiang Montero contends thus: 'This is the real man'. 'He is a concern Senator', according to Jacob Abang. He is 'Our man!' in the words of Charity Obia. Bassey Ubangha says he is, 'A leader with open heart'. K C Iwara burst in literary exuberance thus: 'What a name SEN. JOHN OWAN ENOH, true Democrat. Carry go jor no Vacancy come 2019'. For Pato Ejeje, it is, 'You are a grate political guru that think about the citizens survival'. Imogbo Vivian simply confesses, 'I am witness'.

For the good people of Cross River's central senatorial district the name Sen. John Owan-Enoh, cuts out as a political messiah of some sort. For some, his acts as a public officer are in synch with this 'rocket smile', in the words of one Bukie Okangbe, that have come to sui generically characterise him.
