Pogba joined United from French club Le Havre in 2009 as a 16-year-old, but he was limited to just few appearances until July 2012 when he left for £1.5m to Juventus almost as a free agent due to expiration of his contract.

Heading to the Italian League, he made 178 appearances for Juventus, scoring 34 goals, and helped the club reach the 2015 Champions League final which they lost 2-0 to Barcelona.

His achievement no doubt precedes his personality and has grown to be a Man of experience with honours such as;

Under-20 World Cup winner and player of the tournament (2013)

4 Serie A titles (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016)

2 Italian Cups (2015, 2016)

2 Italian Super Cups (2014, 2015).

His return to Old Trafford has been described by him as destiny which he was told by his Mum, one day he will return back to Old Trafford. He has also said he has return to finish what he started when he left as a boy been treated unfairly by Sir Alex Ferguson.

Paul Pogba transfer Saga has been on the business and transfer cycle for 3 years running and it's stunning, a club which he left almost a free agent, bought him back at world record breaking fee of £89m which eclipse that of Gareth Bale of 2013 £86m. And will be paid £290k a week. The fee which could see add ons of €5m over the next two years.

With just 23 years of age, he has been offered a five year contract by United, and Mourinho has described him to be the "heart of the club for years to come".

Jose Mourinho no doubt want a repeat of what happened to him at Chelsea to reoccur. Coming to a club like Manchester United is to resuscitate the crumbling walls of Old Trafford. Building an edifice of a reliable team worthy of trust is what Jose needs at this time in other to succeed and delivers honours to restore the image of the image. Anything short with this calibre of squad and expenses made, would definitely dent and deface his reputation, and possibly entire career.

Now Paul Pogba done with the Italian job, with lots of experience and trophies, still has more to aspire for, as he said;

"The thing with me is I only think about the pitch. I want to do great, I want to be one of the best," Pogba said. "I want to win titles, I want to achieve things and that's all, that's why I came here, just to do this, to become one of the best and to win titles because I know this club has to win titles.

"This club is created to win titles, to win things, to win big things. That's why. I am focused about this and that's it. I'm just ready to go and work on that and just kill it.''
