The Spanish champions Barca who has beaten Sevilla earlier on at their first game of the season, a victory over Sevilla at the UEFA Super Cup match. They had capitalised and gained more morale from that victory as they emulated it in front of the home fans of the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium, beating Sevilla 2-0 at the Spanish Super Cup.

The saves from Sevilla goalkeeper Rico was not enough as Uruguayan Luis Suarez who had been earlier denied from a free header, got his goal on 54 minutes, finishing off a fine move as Turan chested down Denis Suarez's drilled ball into his path from 15 yards.

The home fans was silenced 81 minutes when Munir Latched onto Messi's fine through ball, as Munir pushed the ball past the onrushing goalkeeper at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.

Lionel Messi almost got on the score sheet but was denied by a save from Rico as he tipped away his right-footed drive from just inside the area at stoppage time.

This will leave newly appointed coach
Jorge Sampaoli  who guided Chile to success last two years as Copa America champions, a puzzle to solve and a mountain to climb as they visit Barcelona away next week Wednesday.

Jorge Sampaoli  predecessor "UNIA Emery", who has led Sevilla to three successive Uefa Cup victories, resigned before the start of this new season and has left new coach Jorge Sampaoli  a huge mountain to climb as much will be expected from him.
