The dream team who has showed a bright start to this year's Rio Olympic, has fallen to a disappointing 2-0 defeat by the ruthless Germans.
With a balanced team possession of 48 to Nigeria and 52 to Germany, it wasn't enough for the Dream team to stand the fury of the German machines who look so tired less going forward at the count of every break.
Two goals from the Germans, each from either half was enough to secure a well deserved win and send them to the Finals to meet Brazil who trumped over Honduras 6-0 win. Lukas Klostermann‘s 9th minute strike put the Germans ahead. While NilsPetersen extended his team’s lead by 2 goals in the 89th minute to kill the game off.
The Dream Team will now play Honduras to compete for the bronze medal of the event.
The Final between the two heavy weights will be played on Sunday.
