His excellency, Engr. Dave Umahi, the executive Governor of Ebonyi has outrightly declared the suspension of one of his aide, Barr. Samuel Okoronkwo with immediate effect.
NHB learnt that Barr. Okoronkwo seats as the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Matters and Rural Development in the state,prior to his the announcement of his suspension by the Governor.
According to our source, Gov.Umahi announced Mr Okoronkwo's suspension today during an open ceremony of the ITF programme in Abakaliki.
For reasons beat known to him, the Governor refused to state the reason for the suspension.
He however asserted that his administration would not condole any indolence, and such acts that are aimed at causing retrogression into the pristine times.
