The Publicity Secretary of the newly inaugurated Young Democratic Party (YDP), Cross River State chapter, Comr Emmanuel Oko Ogar called for membership into the light-ladenned party from interested Cross Riverians and residents of the state.
The said Publicity Secretary Oko made this known via his social media account yesterday when he said, 'YDP membership registration has commenced. Go register now. Make your decision now'. Earlier he posited that, 'Have you suffered neglect? Have you being used and dumped? Are you tired of being manipulated by our leaders-for-life? Are you determined and prepared to effect things positively? If no, then remain silence till Christ comes; if yes, weep no more because Young Democratic Party has come with the light to brighten those that have taken to the pew for too long'.
He further noted that, 'every generation has their brightest chance to make things aright for themselves; this is our chance. For this cause, we must know that the distinction between a noble and a timid decision is the prerogative perception of posterity'.
