Yesterday 15 September, the government of Cross River State received Mr. Sunnel Thuesem, a Danish young man and a bicyclist enthusiast, age 26, who rode a bicycle from Denmark to Nigeria (Lagos-Benin-Calabar) enroute Cameroon to South Africa.
The state government was represented by three political appointees to the Executive Governor of Cross River State, to wit, Special Assistant on Youth Affairs – Prince Godswill Osim Edward, Special Assistant on Tourism – Mr Eric Anderson Special Assistant on Sports – Mr Effiwatt.
In his address to youths at the U. J. Esuene Stadium the venue of the reception, the SA Youth Affairs, Prince Edward, “We as youths need to be focus, resilient, patient, hardworking, tenacious and confident for we to achieve any set goal in life”.
