Yakurr, Cross River-born renowned social commentator and whistle blower, Ifere Paul, recently indicated his intention to drag past and present principal officers of the University of Calabar to Nigeria's anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on account of perceived graft and financial corruption.

Paul made his intention known via his social media account last week. He particularly mentioned the immediate past Vice Chancellor, Professor James Epoke, present Vice Chancellor, Professor Zana Akpagu and the suspended Bursar, Peter Agi as former and incumbent principal officers whom he will be petitioning to the EFCC.

According to the environmental activist, 'The issues in the University of Calabar are issues that cannot be pushed under the table. I have incriminating documents against the Bursar and the VC. The fight between the VC vs Bursar in Unical is paining my heart because Unical is my school. The bad image painted about this University is much more than it can handle now'.

The acerbic critic of the present PDP state government in Cross River State alleged that, 'The administrators past and present have not helped issues as they are the ones extorting and stealing monies from the school'; accordingly, he opined that, 'It is for this reason that I have decided to take the matter to the higher authorities. I will be petitioning the administration of Prof James Epoke, Prof Zana, and Mr Peter Agi to the EFCC.
It is time we also beam a searchlight into the activities of our Alma Mata'.

'I am a Malabite of the "Fundamental Gbosa". It is time I make those professors sit up too', Ifere Paul concluded.
