Today is United Nations International Day of Peace. And the theme for this year's event is Sustainable Development Goals: Building Blocks for Peace.
In Calabar, Cross River State a civil society group, namely, Partners for Peace in the Niger Delta (P4P) in collaboration with the Office of the State Security Adviser (SSA) manned by Mr Jude Ngaji and other partners will be commemorating the day in Calabar.
Activities lined out by P4P will be an advocacy walk designed to commence from Mary Slessor Roundabout through designated spots in the state capital and billed to be terminated at the Peace Park.
The highpoint of today's advocacy walk will be the presentation of a communiqué signed by designated signatories to the State Security Adviser Jude Ngaji at the Peace Park in Calabar.
