We, the Cross River State chapter of the Young Democratic Party, YDP are pleased to use this medium to inform the entire members of our great party and the general populace of the timely resignation of our National Chairman, Arch. Ezekiel Nya-Etok who by virtue of the compliance of the stipulations of the party’s constitution has ceremoniously and officially resigned.
His abdication is in tandem with all that the party preaches and also based on mutual consent. That is to state succinctly that he has consulted with stakeholders of the party and members of his immediate family on the imperativeness of resigning to pave way for younger ones to pilot the party’s affairs.
Also, we wish to notify the public that Arch. Ezekiel in a matter of days will be clocking 53rd years and as such, with his age, he cannot lead a youth party. Hence, his resignation.
The succeeding National Chairman will be elected in the next national convention.
YDP, the light has come!
