The Portuguese Captain has proven times without number to be the pivotal force for both club and country. This time his country, where his display on the night annihilated Andorra which saw two of their men sent off due to reckless tackles on Ronaldo who proved to hot for them to handle.

Portugal bounced back from a disappointing 2-0 defeat last month in the hands of Switzerland. Visibly due to the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo back from his laid off through injury that made him absent from international duties. Ronaldo absent was felt, as Portugal who clinched the Euros 2016 tournament trophy was humbled by Switzerland in their opening World Cup qualifying Group B match last month.

It was Ronaldo's performance for the night that stole the show, as he was named Man of the match. And two of Andorra's men were dismissed, Marc Rebes 62 min and Jordi Rubio 70min were both shown red cards in the space of ten minutes after their reckless challenges Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo's hatrick became his fourth hatrick he has scored for his country, his first four goals in a match, taking his tally to 65 goals in 134 international games for his country.

Joao Cancelo scored in the 44th min, while Andre Silva added the sixth from a deflected shot in the 86th min to make it 6-0 for the night.
