NDDC boss, Ndoma-Egba, Condemns Anambra Church Killings

The Chairman, Governing Board of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Sen. Victor Ndoma-Egba, SAN has joined other eminent Nigerians in condemning the killing of innocent worshipers last Sunday at  St Philips Catholic Church, Ozubulu , Ekwusigo Local Government Area in Anambra state. He charged security agencies to bring the perpetrators of the heinous crime to book within soonest possible time.
In a release signed by Clara Braide, Special Assistant Communications, Ndoma-Egba expressed sadness at the dastardly act even as he commiserated with the Government and people of Anambra State over the unfortunate incidence  which led to the death of scores of worshipers.
 
The statement reads in part: "I strongly condemn the barbarism displayed by the callous attackers who gunned down defenceless people while they worshiped. This is an unwarranted and wanton desecration of God's house for which the Almighty 's eternal wrath will visit the perpetrators "
"While we still believe in God for our security, I urge security agencies to ensure that the perpetrators of this heinous crime are promptly apprehended and brought to justice. 
 
"My prayers and thoughts are with the Government and good people of Anambra state at this time even as I pray that their grieving hearts will find comfort.
 
"We also pray that the souls of the deceased rest in peace." the statement said.
