7 and 8 August 2017 have been slated for the maiden edition of the Cross River State Inaugural Health Summit NegroidHaven can authoritatively inform. Its theme is —Translating Health Policies and Plans into Action.
Today 7th August witnessed the first day of the Summit where presentations and panel discussions took place at the Transcorp Hotel, Calabar.
Sequel to that was the reception of the Honourable Minister for Health, Prof Adewole at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport Calabar, the movement to the Jonathan Bypass venue for the performance of the ceremony of the ground breaking for the Ayadecare Specialist Hospital.
Nigeria’s Minister for Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, the chair of Senate Committee on Health Sen. Lanre Tejuosho, Speaker of the 8th Cross River State House of Assembly John Gaul Lebo, Permanent Secretary of Cross River State Ministry of Health Joseph Adim Bassey, Special Assistant on Health Insurance to the Governor of Cross River State Chief Goddy Iyala and the Director General of Cross River State Primary Healthcare Development Agency Dr Betta Edu and other dignitaries were all present.
