About three days ago, Governor Ben Ayade's aide on primary health care was in her elements at Nko Primary Healthcare Centre as she commissioned the facility NegroidHaven can report.
The obviously enthusiastic Dr Edu revealed that anytime healthcare in Cross River State is improved a bit and a spark of hope is ignited, she finds herself dancing. Interestingly this time around, it was both Dr Edu and the happy people of Nko in Yakurr LGA that were caught dancing.
Read her rendition of the experience: 'I danced with careless abandon… I danced from my soul. Anytime health care is improved by even one inch I dance because I know there is hope, more lives will be saved, more persons will gain access to health care.
'We had that dance again yesterday at NKO, Yakkurr where we commissioned another PHC health center for use. The joy on the faces of our people can not be quantified!!!
'The drive to revitalize primary Health Care has engaged gear 5… Join us! Am sure it is visible to the blind that Ayade truly cares about the health of his people!!!!
'Yakurr samoooo!!!!', she concluded.
Truly, Gov Ayade of Cross River State has united acerbic critics of his administration in unanimously endorsing his health policy drive. Part of the undoing of the present state government has been the crass ineptitude of the larger chunk of the 5,096 appointees of the state!
