UNICAL PG Student Gov’t: I’ve not resigned my Presidency, Comr Bassey Williams denies

The 6th President of the Post-Graduate Students Government of the University of Calabar (PGSG UNICAL), Calabar, Comr Bassey Williams, has denied resigning from office as Executive President of PGSG UNICAL NegroidHaven can report authoritatively. 

Williams, the suspended President made this disclosure via a 6-paragraph, 12th September 2017 letter with reference number: PGSG/UCC/01/020 addressed to the Senate President of PGSG. 

According to the letter titled: DISCLAIMER AGAINST PURPORTED RESIGNATION EMANATING FROM ME; BASSEY WILLIAMS EKPENYONG, Williams said that he knew nothing concerning the said resignation letter. He observed that there are some mischievous elements who are poised to pulling him down. 

His disclaimer letter reads in part: ‘It is rather regrettable that some mischief makers are hell bent to pull me down by deploying innumerable illegal and dubious skills to stripe me of the Presidency which I got through the goodwill of the electorate on the 12th day of July 2017… Sir, permit me to also refresh your indelible memory that this same unscrupulous element of mischief makers had during the electioneering period in July 2017 posted counterfeited posters with my name and innocent image in a quest to calling CUECO for my disqualification prior to the July 12th PGSG election’.

Miss Catherine Agbor respectively have resigned offices
