The 2015 general elections was won by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Muhammadu Buhari on a tripod of promises —to combat corruption, remedy a comatose economy and address insecurity.
However, there are reservations against Buhari's fight against corruption : the question has been asked —after two years in office, which high profile alleged corrupt politician has been compelled to face the weight of the law?
While the APC and her sympathisers are warming up to advance less convincing answers, let's take a look at three instances of corruption that characterised the administration of Mr Integrity last week :
1. Wednesday [08/11/2017]- Ministry of Defence $1.4m shared NO contract executed.
2. Thursday [09/11/2017]- Ministry of Environment in $300m Timber scandal.
3. Friday [10/11/2017]- Ministry of Solid Minerals, spent ₦700m Naira to set up one website.
It's insinuated in some circles that in 2 years and 6 months in office as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and as the ruling political party (APC), Buhari, his family, friends, aides and ministers have swallowed a whooping over N1.7 trillion!
NegroidHaven is yet to confirm this staggering figure.
