Newly created access roads to farmlands, etc |

In fulfilment on consultations promise to constituents, the Speaker of Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon John Gaul Lebo who doubles as Honourable Member representing Abi State Constituency at the 8th Cross River State House of Assembly Constituency has opened rural access roads in Ediba, Usumutong, Abeugo, Afafanyi and Ebonyi, all in Abi LGA.
This is in keeping with the promise he made to the communities during his consultations/town hall meeting with the respective communities.
As part of the demands of the communities who had requested for access roads to their farm lands as well as access roads connecting communities in the affected areas, the Speaker who had vowed to oblige to the demands of the people had also pledged his commitment to ensuring that the presence of the government was positively felt across communities of Abi.
According to Lebo, ‘the rural access road projects has been ongoing as part of the proposed 2018 constituency intervention, some equipments have been deployed specifically around the 10 council wards of Abi. To open virgin roads, access to farmland, access to rural water points, access to new development area, old existing roads in the communities’.
A source close to the Speaker is noted to have said that, Lebo, ‘promised to do more to further justify the confidence reposed on him by the people of Abi.’
