Contrary to information making the rounds on social media dominated by Cross Riverians, alleging that the successor to the outgoing 10th Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Calabar, has been announced today, Thursday 10th September, NEGROIDHAVEN is by this notice debunking the spurious claim.
NEGROIDHAVEN, who had a correspondent stationed at the University of Calabar Hotel and Conference Center-venue of the interview for the 13 candidates involved, can state without fear of contradiction that the Pro-Chancellor and Chair of the Governing Council of the University of Calabar, distinguished Senator Nkechi Nwogu, after interviewing the 13th candidate this evening, informed publicly that the official announcement of the successful selection and appointment of the 11th Vice Chancellor will be made tomorrow, Friday 11th September.
This news outfit is hereby stating categorically that the identity of the 11th Vice Chancellor of the said institution of higher learning is yet to be announced officially. Regard as fake news any information to the contrary.
