The Mayor of Calabar Municipality, Effefiong Eke, Wednesday donated the sum of N550,000 to Mr Chuks Solomon to help him get a new taxi and continue with his business NEGROIDHAVEN can report.
The Chairman also assured him that the culprits would be arrested and prosecuted.
Recall that Solomon was harassed yesterday in broad daylight by hoodlums allegedly responsible for illegally collecting some levies from commercial taxi drivers in Calabar South and Calabar Municipality. In a video alread viral on social media, Solomon’s vehicle was destroyed, and was made naked.
This has caused a furore on Cross River cyberspace.
