Let me use the opportunity of this special occasion in wishing Rt. Hon Jarigbe Agom a happy birthday. My Leader, I call you Rt. Hon because you have proven to be a man we can entrust with another mandate in 2019. You have great leadership qualities of vision, purpose, humility, tolerance and a leader that is very idealistic who understands what his people want and how to go about it towards achieving his desired goal.
Under your representation, my dogged and resourceful Leader, Ogoja/Yala is heard in the National Assembly. This has never happened in the history of our constituency. Today, our people are proud to say they are from Ogoja/Yala because of your reliable and articulate representation.
Evident of your good leadership is the constant keeping in touch and responding to the needs of our people. Rt. Hon, I say thank you for making our people proud. You have given us as a people a voice in our nation.
Today our constituency is the envy of other constituencies because of your carriage, charismatic and maverick style.
You are a movement that knows no political party, tribe, religion, class or status. This is a rare gift. You are indeed a gifted politician and I can assure you that with the feedback I get from our people they are satisfied with your representation thus far.
Rt. Hon Jarigbe, thank you for speaking for the entire Cross River people, may God expand you and give you the foresight to lead well.
Sir, may I use the occasion of your birthday to appeal to you to please seek reelection in 2019. You are the voice of the voiceless in our constituency and from the feedback I get from our people they are satisfied with your representation thus far as Member of Parliament.
