‘I will still chose you again as my bride after 15 years. Happy maŕriage anniversary to Martha – Ine Ewa’. This are the enduring words with which Dr Desmond Ewa decided to mark his marriage anniversary of fifteen whooping years to Mrs Martha Ewa!
Dr Desmond. E. Ewa was on this day 16th November 2002 married to Martha.
Dr Ewa who is of Boki LGA in Cross River State is a public servant who, with a Diploma in Civil Engineering, enrolled for a B.Eng with Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO). He later proceeded to University of Nigeria, Nsuka (UNN) for postgraduate studies.
Dr Ewa currently lectures at Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH). And pastors a branch with Bible Christian Crusaders Mission (BCCM).
Dr Ewa hopes to consultant for UNITED NATIONS, EU, WORLD BANK, etc.
The fifteen years marriage is blessed with Joyce, Laura, Danielle & Charissa
Martha Ewa.
A Canadian-based academic, Obasesam Okoi and politician, had this to say about the intellectual genius of Dr Ewa on the 28th of January this year sequel to his bagging his Ph.D in Engineering : ‘Desmond was one one the brightest, most outstanding, and mathematically gifted students I encountered in engineering school.
‘I recall taking a course on advanced quantitative thinking called “Numerical Methods,” where the entire students in the school of engineering were confused. It was Desmond who decomplexified the subject much better than the course professor. In the civil engineering department, he was the senior colleague we could consult with whenever we encountered complex mathematical problems in our Structural Engineering design class.
‘It is not surprising that he graduated with the highest CGPA in Civil Engineering at least in his class. He also loves Jesus. This is one guy I will recommend any day as Works Commissioner or Special Adviser to the Governor on Works’, his statement reads in part.
