I want to specially congratulate you sir on the just concluded Post UTME exercise in your school. It was peaceful and the computers fairly OK(few students were robbed by the network). May God continue to strengthen you and give you the wisdom that will see you through your administration.
However sir, I wish to draw your attention to the way prospective students are paying so much money for the exams. The most recent being the introduction of scratch cards for checking of the Post UTME result.
In every Computer Based Test, result are seen as soon as they students finish their questions. I think it is a lack of empathy for those students whose parents are suffocating themselves to see them through school, to pay to see their result through the purchase of scratch card. I am guessing they will need to purchase another one to see their admission status.
I practically know of a student whose mother will scratch the ground to see the 1000/2000 N for the scratch card that will be used in seeing the result.
Sir, for the sake of empathy, checking of results should be free. The students have suffered a lot in paying for one thing or the other. The moneys are just too much.
I know you are a father that listens to your children. Please sir, do not push this appeal aside.
Thanks for due consideration!
