Once again a political sacrilege has been committed, our land defiled, strange things happening, democracy abused, our common bonds jettisoned for the compunction of opportunists in government. The event was NorthFest, Hon Legor was seated and the wife of the Cross River State co-governor Mrs Frank Ayade approached Hon Legor and asked him to stand up for her for a seat. Legor in obedience stood up but furiously left, he could not stand the embarrassment.
Hon Jarigbe Agom his brother and colleague was never approached, the seat of State House of Assembly members, cabinet members, SAs and numerous appointees were never sought for but only the seat of a Federal House of Representative member for an unknown name in the Cross River political equation. An eye witness account and an a member of Ayade's inner team attributes the act of Mrs Frank Ayade, wife of the CRS co-governor to a spiritual take over of the seat of the Obudu/Obanliku/Bekwarra Federal Constituency because of her interest to replace Hon Legor in the 2019 elections.
Our democracy have turned a family business, our right and those of our representatives abused, we the emerging youth must rise to change the narrative. If they like, let them look for me for the second time to kill after failing in their first assassination attempt. I will not shut up or allow our land defiled by enemies of Cross River in league with opportunistic elites participating in the sharing of contracts and recommending their brothers and children for appointment thereby betraying us daily to protect vested interest in the current government of shame in Cross River.
Be part of the campaign for the liberation of Cross River by sharing this article till our remotest man in the village hears of this sacrilege on our democracy. Enough of this slap on Cross River, Ayade must call his brother and co-governor Frank Ayade and family to order.
