The incumbent President of apex students body in Nigeria, National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Thursday, frowned at Exercise Egwu Eke II, the ongoing military exercise at the South East of the country NegroidHaven can report authoritatively.
Comrade Haruna Kadiri, the Executive President of NANS has said that he is totally against the Exercise Egwu Eke II popularly called Python Dance II which aims at cracking down on violent agitators, kidnappers, and other bandits in the South-East geopolitical zone comprising Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo States.

Kadiri made this known today via his social media account, Facebook where he said 'I am totally against operation python dance in the South East'.

In a phone interview with Comr Kadiri a few minutes ago, he explained that his reason for standing against Python Dance II is because the security situation in Nigeria is fragile already, that there's the perception that the military exercise is actually against Nigerians in the South-East. His words, 'We have told many security challenges in Nigeria, the country is fragile security wise right now, and there's a sentiment that it is against the South East, and look at what South Easterns, the IPOB are doing right now, searching from one vehicle to the other, looking for one Hausa person to do whatever thing. And of course, if the Hausas see that, they will reciprocate in the northern part of the country, so, the security challenges in the country is too fragile for us to get carrying out operation python dance… '.
Catholic nun calls for international intervention, calls wrath of God on President Buhari

Meanwhile, Mother Mario Francis Ifeanyichukwu Maduka, a Catholic religious nun has bitterly condemned the reptile display in the South Eastern region of the country branded as operation python dance II.
Writing angrily, she said that the President could not curtain the madness in the North East but found the South Eastern region freer to demonstrate his military prowls. She exclaimed that
'We cannot continue to keep quiet.
Why should president of Nigeria Buhari send his soldiers to the eastern part of Nigeria ndi igbo (Christians) to be killing innocent Citizens when he could not even deal with the Nigerian terrorists called Boko Haram up till today? Soldiers and police are supposed to protect citizens not to kill them'.
Maduka went on to note that for days now the death toll is on the increase and the agony of her people is ceaseless. Recounting, she said that
'A lot of deaths in igbo land since two days now  and  hearts are bleeding right now in igbo land Nigeria. I think there is serious and urgent need for international body to step in and help innocent citizens of igbo tribe Nigeria from the killings'.
According to her, the President was elected to protect lives and property not to do the reverse:
'Listen Nigerian president Buhari, you were elected to take care of the citizens , not to be killing them.
'You [PMB] better do something right now before you raise the anger of God on your self'.
Maduka appears to be the first female religious nun, if not the first religious voice to speak out in utmost condemnation of the deployment of the military into the region.
Recall that Exercise Egwu Eke II was initiated on 15 September and 14 October. There will be emphasis on raids, cordon and search operations, anti-kidnapping drills, roadblocks, checkpoints, and show of force, and humanitarian activities such as medical outreach.
