I congratulate Hon Jarigbe Agom, member representing Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, and the entire Bakor nation on the occasion of this year's EYEL MFEMFE (Bakor New Yam Festival).
New yam festivals are moments to merry and chart a way for our people. And, Hon Jarigbe Agom, you have proven to be a people-oriented man, a very passionate and charismatic leader who understands and feels the plight of the Bakor, Mbe, Yala and Ukelle and indeed Cross River man.
As you join your people in celebrating the King of crops(New Yam), may I use this opportunity in commending you for your giant strides thus far as Spokesperson of the Ogoja/Yala people in the green chamber. May God continue to increase you in good health, wisdom and the grace to lead our people well.
