The Special Adviser to Executive Governor of Cross River State on Technical Matters, Mr Eric Akpo, has expressed satisfaction at the pace and quality of work going on with the construction of Akasom Mini Bridge NegroidHaven can report.
SA Akpo who visited the construction site last week on an inspection tour observed that the bridge is of strategic economic importance to Cross River especially considering the volume of agricultural produce that transit the route.

According to the Akpo, ‘the road is of strategic economic importance to Cross River State considering the volume of agriculture produce flowing through that root between both states. The work pace and quality were considered generally satisfactory’.
However, SA Akpo expressed concern over the lack of use, by the contractors, etc of proper protective gear on site.
The Akasom Mini Bridge links Obudu LGA in Cross River to Kwande LGA of Benue State.
