18th September witnessed the official opening of the 2017/2018 Legal Year in Cross River State with the State Governor, Sen Ben Ayade and the Acting Chief Judge of the state, Michael Edem being present.
The Opening ceremony of this year’s legal year took place at Sanctified Mount Zion Church, Ikot Eka Edem, Calabar. Cross River state capital at 10am.

Edem noted that the Cross River State High Court will yesterday, 18th September begin its 2017/18 legal year at the High Court Complex, Mary Slessor, Calabar. Followed by the inspection of Police Guard of Honour by the Acting Chief Judge.
