Mr Castro Ezama Agoga, part time lecturer with the Cross River State College of Education (COE), Akamkpa has been disengaged from his part time job with the aforementioned educational institution NegroidHaven has garnered.
In a 19th July 2017 letter of disengagement signed by the Registrar of COE, Akamkpa Bernard P. Okon the Business Education teacher, who incidentally is the Acting Chairman of the fledgling Young Progressives Party (YPP) in Cross River State has been refused a renewal of part time service on the basis of alleged financial constraints occasioned by recession in the country. His disengagement takes effect from 1st August.
It will be recalled that COE, Akamkpa recently recruited new staff into the institution whereas Mr Castro Ezama Agoga, despite being a part time lecturer for over two years wasn't granted status of full time staff contrary to extant rules and regulations.
There's perceived bad blood between Castro Ezama and some power centres in COE, Akamkpa NegroidHaven has also learnt.
