A social media user, namely, Aninege Jimmie, has taken a swipe at Chief Ray Ugba Morphy over the latter's remark that went viral yesterday. Morphy had declared in effect that should Gov Ben Ayade of Cross River State defect to the APC he would queue in the political line to wait for the mercies of APC faithfuls in Cross River State.
Mr Jimmie who described Morphy as usually looking for relevance labeled him a deceiver. Jimmie challenged Morphy's political pedigree while alleging some unconfirmed statements about him.
Jimmie's remark: 'Seeking relevance through the back door as usual. Ugba Morphy tries as much as he can to deceive the world and to paint a picture about what he is not.
'Who is Ray Morphy and what is his political pedigree or what political successes can be attributed to him? Except that he shamelessly sits on national television to lier (sic), the last time I checked his Arrogance saw him running away from calabar. The only positive think about him is that the father left so much land and property that he has been selling to the detriment of other children.
'He is giving Conditions as who? If Ayade joins APC Ray will be so insignificant as usual and as such is scared. He has no cloud even in Ogoja he claims to come from, ask him what support he had as senatorial candidate. Abeg there is still some of his father's plots at gabu in Yala to sell in case you have forgotten.'
Does Jimmie's reaction invalidates the 9 conditions Morphy gave Ayade should he jump sheep to the PDP?
