Between 15th June to 3rd July, NegroidHaven conducted an online poll on the blog NegroidHaven.org with the question: ‘How has Governor Benedict Ayade of Cross River State performed in the last two years?’ The results are below:
*Very good: 9 votes, 8%
*Good: 9 votes, 8%
*Very poor: 61, 57%
*Poor: 27, 25%
Total votes: 106, 100%.
So, more than half of 106 voters said he has performed ‘very poorly’; less than 30% said he has performed ‘poorly’; less than 10% said he has performed ‘very good’. In fact, 9% said his performance is  ‘good’.
The votes, however, doesn’t tell what he has done ‘very poorly’, or ‘very good’. But, 82% are categorised as poor and 18% categorised as good, that is, grossly speaking.
In the final analysis, if this poll is anything to go by, it suggests that Gov Ayade’s public policy thus far hasn’t been impressive. It suggests, probably too, that Ayade is becoming unpopular by the day.
