Eld. Obol Barr. Inyang Eyong Arikpo, the PDP political ward leader of Ijiman Council ward of Ugep Urban, Yakurr LGA recently sent in his resignation of the leadership of his ward NegroidHaven can report.
According to his resignation letter, Arikpo, who is of the same ward with the APC chieftain and SA to the President on Prosecution Okoi Obono-Obla, is doing so on personal grounds; however, there are feelers suggesting that he is doing so because of lack of benefit thus far.
Arikpo is the younger brother of late former justice of the state Justice Etowa Eyong Arikpo; he is a solicitor-at-law of the class of 1985 with the former Deputy Governor Effiok Cobham's, a former Chairman of Yakurr Local Government in Cross River State.
The rate at which PDP leaders and political kingpins are defecting by the day is alarming. Recently, it was Dr Elocate Okura Ekom. This is not the time for a political party to be loosing her leaders to the opposition.
