Comr Grant Emu emerges Ag. Chair of Young Democratic Party, CRS chapter, YDP secretariat confiscated

Comr Grant Emu has emerged the Chairman of the Young Democratic Party (YDP) in Cross River State NegroidHaven can authoritatively inform. 

This incident occurred yesterday during a general congress of the said political party sequel to the Sunday 16th July 2017 resignation of the erstwhile chairman, Mr Castro Ezama. 

Until now Comr Emu has been the Acting Deputy Chairman of the YDP. While reacting to the development of his appointment, Comr Emu who said that he isn’t keen about leadership position because he has discovered over time that when responsibilities of such are entrusted on him, he goes all out to serve even to his detriment, promised not to let party faithfuls down. ‘I am always afraid of going for leadership positions because of the trend of sacrificing for the system even to my disadvantaged. However, I will carry everyone along. I am requesting your support and loyalty’. 

Meanwhile, the leadership of the YDP in Cross River has discovered to her dismay that her former State Leader in the person of Mr Anthony Bissong Attah has confiscated the state secretariat of the YDP upon defection to the Young Progressives Party (YPP) claiming that YDP does not own the property any longer. Comr Eteng the state chairman of the Convention Planning Committee of the YDP in the state informed NegroidHaven that, ‘When I approached Mr Anthony Bissong Attah for the keys to the party secretariat I was informed by him that the property does not belong to YDP anymore’. On his part, Mr Attah disclosed to NegroidHaven this morning via phone call that, ‘the property was bought in my name, and now belongs to the YPP’.
