Ukana Uffot street road completely renovated just last week!

The picture featured here is Ukana Offot street in Uyo, Akwa Ibom. It’s a road completely rehabilitated last week by Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) the story has it.
As you can see, on a rainy day, the road is completely impassable. Research has it that there’s first the challenge of drainage and then road construction. That is to say, NDDC fixed the road but not the drainage itself.
Ukana Offot street is called NDDC street, but the drainage problem of Ukana street, Port Harcourt street, Jubilee School road, Efiat Ikot Edó/Federal Housing as well as the IBB Avenue through State Secretariat and Atan Offot can only be solved by one underground drainage system. Some have argued that this project should be handled by Akwa Ibom State government.
I am calling on the government of Akwa Ibom State to wade into the matter.
