Reactions of Cross Riverians over the lopsided, pro-Obudu recruitment exercise at College of Education, Akamkpa |

Social Change Agent, Joseph Odok Esq., Ph.D has raised public awareness to a perceived lopsided list for employment into the ongoing College of Education, Akamkpa recruitment exercise. It’s alleged by Odok that the list proposed for employment has more of Obudu indigenes (LGA of the Governor of Cross River State, Mr Ben Ayade).
Cross Riverians are requesting His Excellency the Governor to wade into the controversy by recalling the list and establishing a balance. See excerpts of Odok’s allegations and the reactions of a cross section of Cross Riverians:
College of Education Akamkpa Recruitment Excercise: An Attempt to Obudunise CRS
So much is done in secrets. The list of the shortlisted staff of those who applied for employment at college of Education Akamkpa is at its final stage. An insider (name withheld) holds that as at when he sighted the list, 13 persons were shortlisted from Obudu, 9 from Obanliku, 6 from Yakurr, 1 from Obubra, 2 from Bekwarra.
I am anxiously waiting for the list. I call on our governor to recall the list and represent quota according to Local Government Area. The North that cried for zoning and were made to enjoy zoning should not be seen reducing Cross River State to an Obudu affair. I am taking this as a rumour but have no reason to doubt the story because there are confirmation of attempt to reduce the state to an Obudu affair.
If saying the truth pain you come beat me. No one hack my fon, na me talk am and the people of Cross River State know say I dey talk true
