The Ibadan University Community invites the general public to her special Epistemology/ Methodology Conference tagged:
"DECOLONIALITY!"

The seminar which is organised by the Dean of Arts, through the office of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Abel I. Olayinka is scheduled to take place on the 30th of June 2017, at the Faculty of Arts Auditorium.

Eminent key speakers:
Prof. Toyin Falola & Pof. Fallou Ngom

It promises to not just to be an academic exercise but a conscious exposition of the ripple effects of Colonization; An exposé of the dark side Colonialism, its polarized effects and the need for a deconstruction, mental shift and liberation.

It shall take the audience on a voyage into the before and the now of western colonization from the epistemological, historic and linguistic perspectives.

it is a must for all graduate and post graduate students who are embattled, embittered as well as enmeshed by the absurdities of a Slave mentality that constantly makes them wallow in the pool of  inauthentic living with a loss of language identity, culture, music, arts and a historic belongingness.

You can not afford to miss this!
