Reliable news from a close source in government house has revealed that the governor of Cross River State has mobilized the state members of the State House of Assembly with 2.2 million naira per LGA for voters awareness and sensitization.
The choice of the State House of Assembly Members was on presumption of closeness to the electorate whom they recently enjoyed their votes in the run-up that saw them elected.
According to the directives of the governor, each house of Assembly member is to disburse the money to political appointees in each ward for massive mobilization and sensitization.
Members of the public should hold their houses of Assembly members accountable until the opportunity for proper sensitization granted them is fully executed in accordance to the directives of the governor.
The public must cease the opportunity to register massively because our votes is our strength.
