Prof. Ayade prays for pupils

The pupils of Melody Academy located at 8 Miles were exceptionally privileged to have met with the Executive Governor of Cross River State, Professor Ben Ayade.
The said pupils were on an excursion exercise yesterday 19 October to Marina Resort at Bayside when they bumped into His Excellency who was incidentally there for an unscheduled visit to one of the project site around the resort.
In his usual sanguine demeanor and fatherly disposition His Excellency 'interacted with the kids, encouraging them on their studies, urging them to be respectful especially to their parents and school authorities. Like any father would, Governor Ayade poured out his heart when he rendered words of prayer over the children', Emmanuel Ulayi, a media aide to His Excellency reported.
If you think those kids weren't lucky, try to remember whether you ever met with the state governor of your time while you were their kids. Lol
However, I wish to remind His Excellency to fulfill his promise of paying teachers their four months owed salaries by the end of this month. Pensioners who were former teachers should not be left out. Recessionary times aren't palatable with backlogs of owed salary arrears.
