Ivory Coast Yaya Toure is seems all set and likely to be given a lifeline to his playing career for City by Pep Guaediola, a likely start up with the game with Manchester United tonight.
Yaya hasn't been out of sort for the City manager who took charge at the beginning of the season, as Pep doesn't fancy his playing style. It lead Yaya's agent to make some disrespectful remark about Pep which escalated the whole scenario, and led Pep to conclude of not featuring the Ivorian again unless an apology is made.
Yaya's agent Dimitri Seluk was unapologetic even as Pep Guardiola demanded one from him. He actually called Pep "A piece of s**t".
Pep Guardiola has rather turn to Yaya himself to make the apology and consider himself part of the team and would consider starting him up against Man United tonight in the EFL clash. The second meeting of Pep and Mourinho since they both took charge of their new clubs.
Pep said of Yaya;
“I would like to come with Yaya, believe me, I would like, but you know the situation."
