The member representing the northern senatorial district of Cross River State at the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Rose Okoji Oko, has indicated her intention to organise free medical outreach for her constituents, that is, Cross Riverians of Ogoja, Yala, Obudu, Obanlikwu and Bekwarra local governments area of origin.
The free medical outreach is organised under the auspices of The Senatorial Outreach of Dr. Rose Okoji Oko, and is billed to span Thursday 6 – Saturday 8 October 2016; medical services will hold for a time frame of eight hours daily.
Opening ceremony for kick off of the programme will hold on the 6th of October at General Hospital, Ogoja by 10AM.
Information reaching this press outfit suggest that the Distinguished Senator will use the opportunity to donate various medical equipments to medical facilities domiciled in the northern senatorial district of the state. Free medical services will cover counseling, medical operations for Appendix, Hernia, Cataract, Glaucoma, free frames and eye glasses donation, testing and treatment for Malaria, Typhoid, free drugs donation, etc.
