Chief Tony Undiandeye's apology to Cross Riverians over the bearers of the “RIP Joe” scripted coffins is lame and dumb. It is important Chief Tony, as he is popularly called, to note that the coffin bearers or undertakers of Ayade were paid 1 Million Naira cash.
Those who carried the coffin were carefully approached to do so by government officials including Chief Tony Undiandeye himself. The coffin bearer were all from Calabar South.
It is cheap talk for Chief Tony to state that the undertakers or coffin bearers are miscreants. Well, most of the clueless appointees including Chief Tony Undiandeye did actually mobilized the miscreants to welcome the governor at the airport.
Those miscreants were paid to buy a coffin. Those miscreants were paid to transport the coffin to the airport were they displayed it to the world to see. The governor saw it. He liked it. He nodded approval to the use of the coffin. And even gave a double thumps up to the coffin bearers.
In fact the Commissioner of New City Development made mentioned of it when he stated that “Joe Agi's ambition to be governor through the back door is dead on arrival”. He was cheered by the supporters of the governor, he's appointees, and even the governor “nodded and clapped".
So, the apology by Chief Tony Undiandeye to Joe Agi SAN and his massive followers is just a show of shame and denials. Like always, we have caught them lying. A bunch of lying appointees like their lying governor.
We are tired of excuses. We are tired of backwardness of our State. Cross River State needs a fresh breathe. We need a change.
Make Cross River State better. No more excuses.
