Do you know him or her? Some of us barely know Sampson Charles popularly called Sammy Jazz. I doubt he's a Cross Riverian by reason of his name but he should be Akwa Ibom. But, most of his childhood, teenage and youthful live was spent in Calabar, Cross River State capital city necessitating my tag 'Calabar Dude'. Whatever, he was the present author's senior student back then in the 90s at Government Science School, Mayne-Avenue, Calabar now Government Technical College.

Six days ago, Sunday 16 October Sammy Jazz proposed to his girlfriend, now fiance Ngozi Nwigwe. I know the question somebody is asking me now is: proposed to a Ngozi, and so? What's new? Yeah, that brings us to how he did it: After a worship concert at House on the Rock in Port Harcourt, the artiste took Ngozi by surprise by kneeling down right outside the property's premises that auspicious evening and popped the question: 'Ngozi will you marry me?', putting her on the spot.

In the pictures one sees Fiance Ngozi being in utter surprise! She must have been saying: Sammy, are you serious!? Are you kidding me!? Which girl no go rush pop out her slender fingers to Sammy? Ngozi said yes and embraced her lovely dude and by this became Ngozi, Sammy Jazz's fiance! Congratulations to the fair skinned duckling! I am waiting for the D-day's date. Meanwhile, let's listen to Sammy Jazz's account of that memorable evening after the lovely music concert:

'It was a great evening as my best friend Ngozi Nwigwe said "yes" to me as I popped the big question Just after a worship concert at House on the Rock Church, Port Harcourt.

'Thanks to all my friends: Phrekysax, Mr and Mrs Okposio, Pst Maurice and Samuel Arugu for making dis nite a reality under short notice', he said.

Congratulations once again to the two of you. Do remember to invite me to the marriage ceremonies.
