A case of murder and robbery had been alleged in Calabar.
According to our source, a young man who luckily won a whooping sum of about 2 million Naira in the popular Naira Bet Sporting gamble was poisoned to death by his close friend in a bid to abscond with the cash.
The culprit who decided to run away with the huge chunk of money after the gruesome murder was nabbed by police, on suspicion for fraud, the moment when he went to cash the ticket himself.
