This is to announce to the general public that the story generated by a certain David Undie Agaba and making the round on social media that distinguished Rt. Hon. Paul Adah was arrested by the EFCC is not just a complete lie but a malicious and wicked one.
Undie is just acting the script of the Cross River Government which has established reputation for sponsoring fabricated and unfounded Media reports to smear the personalities of anybody who dare to oppose the highhandedness and gross incompetence of the Ayade's administration.
Rt. Hon. Adah has never been invited by the EFCC for questioning as there is nothing to question him about. As a two time legislator representing the Obudu/Bekwerra/Obanliku federal Constituency and former commissioner representing Cross River state in the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, his records are very clear.
Thus, the rumour of his arrest by the EFCC is a figment of the imagination of the originator of the fictitious story. The only person that has been arrested by EFCC and granted executive bail from Obudu is Dr. Frank Ayade who allegedly stole over N2.6 billion from the state coffers.
Mr. Undie is advised to desist from spreading false information about Rt. Hon. Adah or anybody related to him or prepare to face the legal consequences of his actions.
