Antonio Conte lost his first match in charge of the Blues in an entertaining League game against 'Hot Red' Liverpool at Stamford Bridge. The Blues prior to this match had dropped two vital points away to Swansea last Saturday. The team obviously lack creativity from midfield as well as precision. He has preferred Oscar in the midfield because of his defensive abilities, but every time the damage has been done he falls back to Cesc Fabregas to repair the damage. Could it be sentiment or personal rift with the player? One could imagine as every time Cesc comes in, the midfield seems opened up, and the game witnessed creativity, yet he prefers to always start with Oscar who lacks vision to make the final pass that splits open defense.

Speaking to SkySport after the defeats he said; "You have to pay attention to details if you want to think like a great team,"

"We must feel the danger and sometimes we don't, that is the truth. We have to reflect a lot on this game because it is important to understand the situation if we don't want to have another bad season.

"Chelsea is a great team but we must be a great team on the pitch and think like one. We have to pay attention in all situations and sometimes we don't feel the danger.

"At this level it is important to pay attention to every detail if you want to win"

"We conceded two goals and the game became very difficult," added Conte. "In the second half our approach was good, we scored and could have had another through Costa.

"When you concede space to Liverpool it is very difficult because their three forwards are very fast with good technique. We tried to not let them have space but we conceded two goals, the first after a quick free-kick and the second after a throw-in and Henderson was free."

Who could be failing to learn, Antonio Conte or the players?

The Italian tactician prefers to feature Oscar in midfield because of his ability to defend and attack. But he has refused to recognized the creative and passing part of the game. Chelsea have struggled for wins this season always coming late to secure a win, and lately the Swasea game at Liberty Stadium saw them settle for a draw, losing vital two points. Hosting 'Red Hot' Liverpool at the Bridge has left Antonio Conte and his men licking thier own wound.

Antonio Conte had admit prior to the match, describing Liverpool as the worse team to play at the moment considering their form. And it didn't end well for the Blues as they ended up losing 2-1 at Stamford Bridge. Two first half goals from Dejan Lovren and Jordan Henderson was enough to secure a well deserved win for the Blues. The Reds dominate the first half of the game, and they were rewarded for their hard work.

After losing 2-0, Diego Costa scored in the second half and it made Chelsea rejuvenated and Conte failed to make changes early enough to alter the dimension of the game. The game lacked creativity from midfield, the final curring edge pass to split up the defense of the Reds were all missing. He waited until the 85th min to introduce Victor Moses, Pedro and Cesc Fabregas, but it was too late to repair the damage that has already been done by Liverpool.
