German club Borussia Monchengladbach are already reaping the benefits of signing Belgian youngster Thorgan Hazard after impressive loan spell with them.
The player signed for Chelsea 2012 and was sent out on loan before being signed permanently by Borussia Monchengladbach without making any appearance for Chelsea. According to Bild, a buy-back clause was inserted as part of his move to the club, £12.8m buy back clause.
The deal seems to be fruitful and futile for Chelsea as they struggle for width, always depending heavily on the paces and brilliance from his elder brother Eden Hazard.
The Belgium internarional has been in mesmerizing form this season for Monchengladbach scoring six goals in five games in all competitions so far. There have been fears Chelsea will come soon knocking for their youngster in other to reduce the burden of his elder Eden Hazard as they have only 14 weeks left to activate the clause, which expires on December 31 2016.
Regardless of the recent allays of such fears, the youngster has reiterate his desire to stay with the club as he is happy playing for them. He was quoted by saying;
"I've signed a long-term deal and I am only focused on Borussia,’ he said.
'I feel good here, and am currently not thinking about any other club."
It remains to be seen how early and swift Chelsea could trigger his return to the Bridge where his elder brother Eden Hazard features.
